    The Leuconeura Maranta is a small insect found in the rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra. It has been known to scientists for over 150 years, but was only formally described in 2006. The Leuconeura Maranta is unique because it is the only species of butterfly in the world that can change color both during the day and at night. This ability allows it to blend in with its surroundings and escape from predators.
